In 2014, before Ethereum's mainnet launch, Leonardo Maria Pedretti worked on the Italian whitepaper translation. The pedrosoftz GitHub repository and archived copies of Ethereum's old wiki preserve its public record.
EtherEvolution credits Leonardo as the translator and founder of Ethereum Italia. A 2017 Ca' Foscari programme identifies him as Founder Ethereum Italia.
